Aguire springs 55 campsites are spacious, not all leveled, and have variants. There is some place for everyone irrespective of their budget. Site types include tent sites, RV sites, dispersed camping, and group camping. Each campsite has its fire pit, pavilion, charcoal grill, and bear-proof trash can. These sites are also close to vault toilets. Hence camp visitors do not have to hurry to find a place to relieve themselves when nature calls. Many visitors vouch for the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the quiet that you enjoy here.

The campsites are open from March till November and the best time to visit is in the summer.

Hookups are not available on this campsite. Plan to come with alternative power supply means like a portable solar panel to power your devices and a mobile bathroom if you can. Water is only available at the entrance of the recreation site.

 2.Navajo Lake State Park 36 Road 4110 Unit 1, Navajo Dam, NM 87419

 

 

Navajo lake, a reservoir in design, is the second-largest state lake in New Mexico. It is located in Suan Juan County and Rio Arriba County in the northwestern area of New Mexico. The lake experience in this campground is next to none. With a 150-mile shoreline in the middle of a desert,  beautiful scenery, and sunshine, Navajo lake is worth your next vacation.

Seven campgrounds consist of 244 developed campsites and primitive sites on Navajo lake. The developed sites are equipped for visitors' convenience with full hookups. Primitive sites are without any of these. Rates for these campsites are fixed based on the amenities provided. Camping fees for the primitive: $8/night, developed site with and without hookups: $14 and $10, respectively. For developed sites with electric and sewage hookups, campers would pay a sum of $18

3.City of Rocks State Park;327 Hwy 61 Faywood, NM 88034

 

 

This park is located between Silver City and Deming in the heart of the Chihuahuan desert in southwestern New Mexico. It stands at an elevation of 5,200 feet. The best time to plan your trip to city rocks is either spring or Fall for the most suitable weather conditions. It is made up of rock columns that originated from a volcanic eruption about 35 million years ago. Great sunsets, a beautiful view of the skies nighttime, and its unique rock formation make City of Rocks a desirous camping destination.

There are 52 individual campsites scattered throughout the park to aid its scenic view. Features of the campsites are picnic areas, a desert botanical garden, modern restrooms with hot showers, and a visitor center. Angel Peak Scenic Area Opens all year round and is for the bold and daring. It is located at a range of 30 miles of Farmington. With a landmark made up of a river and rugged terrains, it is suitable for primitive camping.

Angel Peak has one campground and three picnic areas. Along The canyon are nine campsites for tent camping. Each campsite has picnic areas, gravel pathways, and a fire grate. Eagle nest is on the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway. It is an artificial reservoir designed to store water and was converted into a state park in 2004. The major attraction of this state park is the lake which allows visitors to engage in fishing activities. Other activities the camp provides are snowballing in winter, boating, and swimming. Nineteen campsites are open to the tent, RV, and trailer campers. Six can be reserved out of these nineteen campsites, while the other thirteen are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fully equipped for visitors' comfort, Eagle's nest has picnic areas, hiking trails, vault toilets, potable water, a group pavilion, campsite tables, and fire rings. This campground is ideal for individual and group camping and is open all year.
